How to apply and remove ZOOTATTOO® STRETCH WRAP
Let the tattoo bleed for approximately 10 minutes or more, or until it settles, then wash the tattoo down thoroughly using ZOOTATTOO® WASH or a soft soap and pat dry. Cut the stretch wrap to size, remove the protective paper layer, and adhere directly to your tattoo. Allow approximately 3-5 cm of additional coverage extending beyond the perimeter of your tattoo for the best adhesion. Avoid air pockets during application.
If possible, it is ideal to remove the first application after 6-12 hours, repeat previous steps and apply a second application. This step largely depends on fluid build-up. Keep in mind everyone heals differently.
Remove the second application in 5 - 7 days by peeling the stretch wrap back over itself. Removal can be assisted by first soaking or oiling the wrap. Excessive bleeding may cause some seepage. If you have excessive bleeding, you can remove the wrap, wash the tattoo with a soft soap and wrap it again after it settles.
Is is preferred that when healing, try to keep the wrap dry as much as possible to aid the healing process and try to avoid contact with pets during those first few critical days of healing.
While STRETCH WRAP will resist water, prolonged exposure is not recommended when healing. Be kind to yourself during this process. Drink plenty of water and eat nutritious food.
Warning: Use only as directed and do not apply over infected skin. This product contains adhesives. Discontinue use if irritation occurs, and if symptoms persist, consult your health practitioner.
